Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real... Trees

The moon has been incredible this week. This is the best I could do with my camera.

The winds of the last week have stolen most of the fall colors.
Still a beautiful view!

Colleen and I have been wanting to paint a "family tree"
but decided to make do with a wall decal for now.
Love doing projects with my daughters...
so blessed to have 2 precious daughters.

I spent Saturday with my college roomates having lunch and
 shopping in downtown Mansfield.
So grateful for friendships that stand the test of time.
Saturday night I had a hot date...dinner at Olive Garden
where the best hostess ever works (sweet Colleen) and then
Gary and I wandered around the furniture store where
we contemplated what we would buy if we suddenly
found ourselves with money to splurge with.

They are home!
Thomas was on a camp out and survived arctic conditions.
He had Gary and I laughing with stories of trying cook chicken and build a fort.
My favorite part was him describing the stars at 4 A.M.
John came home smiling and tired with a few stories of his own and more impressively
money in his pocket! So good to have the boys home...I love being a mom!

Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real...November

All the Saints in heaven pray for us!

November means it is time to be aware of all that we are blessed with.
I am feeling very hopeful as this year and so I made 2 sheets to fill with a list of our blessings!

On the road to Columbus for some much needed family time.
I kept trying to roll down my window and take pictures
of the sunset. Everyone in the back of the van kept complaining about
the cold wind so I resorted to taking them out the front windshield.

Amazingly we were able to get everyone together for a Sunday night dinner at Max and Erma's in Columbus. My 2 favorite ways to spend time are both around a table...family dinners and Mass!

As usual it was impossible to get everyone to cooperate for a group shot.
Right as I took this Gary decided to jump in the air!
Never a dull moment with the Korte family!

John photo bombing...he is getting to be a pro at this.
Not sure if that is good or bad...at least I will have some pictures of
him or at least part of him :)

Thomas tested for Green Belt AND broke a board for the first time!
I am so proud of him for all he has accomplished in karate.

2 times in one week I had all four of my children together which makes for one happy mama!

Top of the hill...the first of November

With the time change I get to experience the sunrise again.
What a beautiful way to start the day.
