Downtown for our last summer outing...tail end of the Farmer's Market,
lunch at Coney Island, Main Street Books
and lastly fun at the Carrousel
The loft at the bookstore...neat little reading nook!
and look at the view out the window!
Another summer project...painting the hallway. Colleen and I plan to paint a
tree and hang pictures for a family tree! We'll see if we can get it done this fall.
We had a little reunion of our Pray and Play Mom's group from about 10 years ago.
It was prompted by the sudden death of one of our dear mom's husband this summer. In spite of the difficult circumstances we had a lovely visit. At one time there were probably 15 moms and
who knows how many kids in this group.
Produce from my garden...I brought this in, went to take a picture and of course thought...
Bob the tomato and Larry the cucumber!
We had a little family reunion with my dad's side of the family...for many years a rarity as my dad died when I was 12. While we were there my uncle brought out some pictures of my dad growing up and asked if I would like to have this picture. Definitely a HAPPY moment!
On the back of the photo it said Holy Thursday 1949!
John 1st day of Junior year!
First field trip of the year..Perry's Monument at Put-N-Bay on South Bass Island.
The monument
The view from the top.
We scooted around the island on a golf cart...fun...fun...fun!
